Trisha Fey is a yoga and movement instructor serving women of color. She promotes radical resilience through dance, yoga and movement. She is passionate about teaching and unveiling creative expression. Growing up in the U.S. robbed her ability to learn her mother tongue contributing to a fear of expressing who she was growing up. This has led her on a journey of finding her truth and voice in the world – committing to living a life with no regrets.

One of the ways Trisha supports embodied truth is by facilitating trauma-sensitive movement practices. A mover for over 20 years, she has experience in a variety of dance styles and movement expressions and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and Dance/Movement Therapy.

This past summer during quarantine, she was featured on Yoga Journal, the world’s largest and most influential yoga brand, and led a virtual session helping others feel at home in your body during racial unrest and overwhelm.

We discuss her work of reconnecting people back to the motherland, the Philippines, and back to belonging through movement practices.
